If you purchase a paid plan, complete the recommended practice on TheoryAced, sit your official UK driving theory test, and don't pass — we'll refund you. Just email us your DVSA result within 14 days of your test date and we'll take care of the rest.
Which plans are covered by the guarantee?+
Lifetime Pro is covered by the guarantee. The free quiz is, well, already free.
What do I need to qualify for a refund?+
You must complete all mock exams, watch all the videos, complete all questions in practice, and score more than 75% across mocks, practice questions and quizzes. Then send us a copy or photo of your official DVSA result letter.
How do I claim a refund?+
Email theoryaced@gmail.com from the same address you signed up with, attach your DVSA result, and we'll process the refund back to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
Are the questions the same as the real DVSA test?+
Our questions are written to mirror the style, difficulty and topics of the official DVSA syllabus. We're not affiliated with the DVSA, but our mock exams use the same length (50 questions), pass mark (43) and timing (57 minutes) as the real thing.
Can I cancel anytime?+
TheoryAced Lifetime Pro is a one-time £6.99 GBP payment with no subscription, no trial, no auto-renewal and no recurring charges. Taxes may apply and will be calculated at checkout.
Why do I need to practice for my theory test?+
The UK theory test covers a wide range of topics — road signs, hazard perception, vehicle safety, motorway rules and more. Regular practice helps you absorb the Highway Code, get used to the question style, and build the confidence to pass first time.
How long does it take to prepare using TheoryAced?+
Most learners feel ready in 2–4 weeks of consistent practice (around 20–30 minutes a day). If you're starting from scratch, give yourself closer to 4–6 weeks and focus on your weak areas as they appear in your dashboard.
How up-to-date are your revision materials?+
Our question bank is reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the latest Highway Code and DVSA syllabus changes, so you're always practising against current material.
What types of vehicles does the app cover?+
TheoryAced is focused on the UK Car (Category B) driving theory test. Motorcycle, LGV and PCV tests aren't covered yet.
Can I use TheoryAced on multiple devices?+
Yes. Sign in with the same account on your phone, tablet or laptop and your progress syncs automatically.
Do I need an internet connection to use it?+
Yes, an internet connection is required so your progress, quiz history and subscription status stay in sync across devices.

Every quiz and mock exam you complete is saved to your dashboard. You'll see overall accuracy, your strongest categories and — most importantly — your weakest topics so you know exactly what to revise next.
Is there a limit to how many questions I can practice in a day?+
No daily limit. Practice as much as you like — the more reps you get, the more confident you'll feel on test day.
Does the app provide explanations for incorrect answers?+
Yes. Every question comes with a clear explanation so you understand why the correct answer is right — not just what it is.
How similar are the mock tests to the real theory test?+
Our mock exams mirror the real DVSA test format: 50 multiple-choice questions, a 57-minute timer and a 43/50 pass mark. Question style and topic mix are designed to feel just like the real thing.
Can I retake the mock tests multiple times?+
Absolutely. Retake any mock exam as often as you like — questions are shuffled each time so you're always being tested, not just memorising order.
